MONEY DAY, track was inspired by Million Dollar Lake Houses on Lake Keowee in Oconee County South Carolina. Big Time Party Houses with RR's to match.
The will to win at wherever your dreams take you. Lady GaGa and Taylor Swift keep me with inspiration. Lady once said "You are good Enough," while Taylor started out in small town city bars with a dream, and now look. That's the basis of every record i do, I keep that in mind.
This single here sparks off the the forthcoming EP. This single evokes motivation and demand. If it's to be made, then i'm here for the taken. Believing in yourself and having the attitude that this is timeless, our music, lives, and hearts are forever!
The structure of the song is based upon a dance track. The chorus hits you first then the vocals come in and hits you right in the face. The bass is definitely 808, and deep for the cars and clubs to turn up.
All in time, you have time on your side or against you, either way, you learn on both ends. This track has some powerful chords and vocals to match. The drum programming is spot on with the track which make you wanna move.
The Record i chose to be in Eminor along with BDF#; GBD; ACE; CEG for chords. I did add a slightly different vibe/groove to the verse to change it up a bit. Notes E, G, B, and A are used in the verse. The bass line is groovy, makes you wanna do the "Running Man!"
If you want it and it's out there, "Go get it," theres nothing in your way. Listen to the track and tell me if it doesn't motivate you to get what is everyone's choice as people, "Something New," in some way or another.

I recorded my vocals with a SM 57, which sounds awesome. I didn't even record my vocals in a booth, and the the vocals are dynamic. This recording is the first time i used compression and EQ correctly, and it sounds amazing. The clarity, and punch is what is noticeable to me, along with the balance of both chorus and verse.

I used some delay on my ab-libs to for space fulfillment. It gives the listener a copy of what's been said, and a different assignment, "to watch for the hook!"
